Comments.
This water is run by Maldon Angling Society. It has plenty of trees
and bushes surrounding the water and loads of marginal reed beds with good
solid banks. With depths average fourteen feet the margins are excellent for
fishing in the early mornings and evenings. The water is well known to the
local anglers and selection of swims are sometimes difficult to chose. Boilies
are the favourite baits followed by particles. Well known to be a good winter
water and is open all year.
From Haybridge head North on the B1022. After 1.8 miles turn right into
School Road then right again into Hall Road. Pass the six houses on the right
and turn right down a lane which will take you to the fishery.
