UK - Koi Herpes warning

The dreaded Koi Herpes Virus has raised its ugly head again in several waters in the South, East and Midlands.

The virus develops clinical symptoms in infected fish when the water temperature reaches 18 to 28 degrees and has affected a TOTAL of 16 cases since 2002.

We as anglers MUST try to stop the increase of the Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) before it reaches epidemic proportions. Fishery owners are advised by the Environment Agency to impose bio security measures by TEMPORARILY CEASE FISHING.

Being very active carp anglers for many years we have noticed a lack of quality information on Carp waters for the novice and obsessive Carp angler alike. There are many pages on the web that are full of useful information and several contain a quantity of carp waters. The pages which follow will eventually show many thousands of waters world wide.

If you know of a water you have visited let us know, we have grown based on the feedback of thousands of anglers over the time we have been in existence.

To use our service all you have to do is join us as a Member, we offer a low cost and convenient 6 month subscription for just £5.00 GBP, which you can cancel anytime.

As a Member click on the Country you are looking for, login to the Members area (ID and Password) then select the area or waters in more detail.

It's so easy to find a new venue this way. Using this method will also spread the angling pressure more evenly around the waters. Another advantage of these web pages is that the information stored here is continually updated on a daily basis.

The pages on each water are designed to be printed on two sheets of A4 paper. Sheet 1 give fishing information, sheet 2 shows how to get there, shops, postal address, supplies, weather, and the nearest fishing tackle shop.

The information stored is correct at the time of insertion, and are constantly updating it but we suggest a quick check with the fishery itself would be a good idea before a trip. We should be grateful to receive any information regarding new waters or changes in regulations of existing entries.
